A highly successful Lean Practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in the manufacturing sector Bill has a proven track record of business transformation, achieving high levels of quality, cost and delivery impacts across multiple business sectors. In addition to his work with the North-West Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), he has gained vast experience in multiple sectors across the UK, Europe, China and North America. Motivating and working and with teams from shop floor to Boardroom, he has educated, trained, coached and implemented change to achieve high levels of operational excellence.

Bill has worked with SME’s as a Practitioner for more than 15 years. Between 2002-2010 whilst at The Manufacturing Institute, Bill was an integral part of the MAS team that worked with more than 5000 businesses delivering over £750m worth of measurable results. Since 2010 Bill helped recruit a number of Lean Practitioners that went on to successfully deliver the European funded (ERDF), ‘Profit Programme’ SME business support service
